Court Sentences Turtle Lake Man On Conviction Of Child Porn Possession

BARRON COUNTY -- The Court has sentenced a Turtle Lake, WI man on his conviction of possession of child pornography.

DrydenWire.com previously reported in February 2019 that Adam Rhodes, of Turtle Lake, WI was facing charges for possession of child pornography following an investigation by the Barron County Sheriff’s Department and the Turtle Lake Police Department.

Rhodes first told investigators that he had been looking at child pornography for about a year, and then later stated that he was surprised “it took this long” because he had been looking at child pornography for about ten years; going on to state he “most definitely” knew that the people in the pornography images were under the age of 18 according to the criminal complaint filed against him. The complaint also stated that pornographic images located on Rhodes’ Kindle contained children ranging from age 3 to age 13 and engaged in sexual activities too graphic to describe.
