BURNETT COUNTY — A case that began with reports to law enforcement sparking a multi-county alert, a high-risk traffic stop in the Village of Siren, and resulted in felony charges against a Wisconsin man has concluded in a Burnett County courtroom.
Blake Lavern Hanson, age 22, was sentenced this week in connection with the November 2025 pursuit that began with reports of a Buick LeSabre’s occupants hanging out windows and shouting at pedestrians and escalated into a police pursuit in the village and a tense traffic stop with officers’ firearms drawn.
