WASHBURN COUNTY — After a Washburn County jury found her guilty on every count following a two-day trial, Tracy Dufay, age 55, of Spooner, WI, returned to court for sentencing. The case stemmed from a March 2024 search warrant on Dufay’s Spooner-area residence, where investigators located controlled substances, paraphernalia, and other evidence.
During her December 2025 trial, jurors heard testimony from law enforcement officers, co-defendants, and Dufay herself before deliberating for roughly an hour and returning guilty verdicts on all seven charges filed against her. Dufay’s bail was revoked immediately following the verdict, and she was sentenced during a court hearing on February 23, 2026.
