WASHBURN COUNTY — A Rice Lake, WI, woman has been sentenced in Washburn County Circuit Court for a conviction in a criminal case stemming from a late-night July 2025 single-vehicle crash on Highway 53 near Sarona, WI, where two occupants were found ejected from the vehicle.
Emergency crews assisted both individuals at the scene, and the passenger, Sierra Mlejnek (23), received felony charges for assaulting the ambulance crew members.
Mlejnek was sentenced during a September 21, 2026, court hearing.
