WASHBURN COUNTY -- Joshua L Reneson, 38 years of age, from Eau Claire has been arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol Spooner Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 4th offense.
Joshua L. Reneson, 38 years of age, from Eau Claire, WI has been arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol-Spooner Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 4th offense.
At approximately 2:56 pm on Sunday [September 2, 2018] afternoon, a Wisconsin State Trooper assisted the Washburn County Sheriffs Office with a crash investigation on US HWY 53 and County Road E. Mr. Reneson was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
A subsequent investigation by the trooper showed that Mr. Reneson was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. A legal blood draw was completed at the hospital.
The crash remains under investigation by the Washburn County Sheriffs Office.
Pursuant to the direction of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, as found in Supreme Court Rule 20:3.6, Trial Publicly, you are advised that a charge is merely an accusation and that a defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
