SAWYER COUNTY (DrydenWire) - A criminal complaint filed in Sawyer County Circuit Court provides insight into a lengthy arson investigation involving seven separate structure fires across multiple communities that led to the identification and arrest of Thomas Lloyd Olson, age 30, as the suspected arsonist.
The fires, which occurred between November 2024 and October 2025 at largely unoccupied buildings in Sawyer County in Radisson, Exeland, Birchwood, and Sand Lake, were ultimately linked through surveillance footage, witness accounts, and forensic findings.
The Hon. Judge Monica Isham ordered a $100,000 cash bond for Olson following his arrest.
