BARRON COUNTY — A woman was found deceased inside a mobile home after a fire in Comstock on Thursday afternoon, according to the Barron County Sheriff’s Department.

On October 30th, 2025 at 3:18 P. M. The Barron County Sheriff’s Department along with the Cumberland Fire Department, Cumberland Ambulance and Wisconsin Department of Justice responded to a mobile home on fire at the address of 1868 US Hwy 63 Comstock, Wisconsin.
Once the fire was extinguished, fire fighters located the body of a deceased female inside of the mobile home.
The victim was identified as Dawn Allen of Comstock, Wisconsin.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
