BURNETT COUNTY — Two individuals were taken into custody after officers executed a search warrant at a residence in the Gaslyn Community, according to the St. Croix Tribal Police.

Today, Officers with the St. Croix Tribal Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence in the Gaslyn Community as part of an ongoing drug investigation.
During the search, Officers located items consistent with methamphetamine use inside the residence. As a result of the investigation, two individuals were taken into custody.
The St. Croix Tribal Police Department would like to thank the Siren Police Department for their assistance during this operation.
Drug activity has a direct impact on the safety, health, and quality of life of our communities. We encourage community members to report suspected drug activity, suspicious behavior, or information related to illegal narcotics. Community members should not confront suspected drug activity themselves, but should instead contact law enforcement so the information can be handled safely and appropriately.
Anyone with information regarding illegal drug activity within the St. Croix Tribe is encouraged to contact the St. Croix Tribal Police Department. Information can also be provided anonymously if requested.
There is no known ongoing threat to the public related to this incident.
All individuals arrested are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
