DrydenWire Returns Refreshed, Recharged, And Ready For An Exciting New Year

NORTHWEST WISCONSIN (DrydenWire) – After taking time over the Christmas holiday to pause, reflect, and recharge, the DrydenWire team is back today, Monday, December 29, and regular publishing has officially resumed.

The short holiday break allowed our team to step away, spend time with family and loved ones, and come back refreshed and energized as we head into the final days of 2025 and prepare for a busy year ahead. We appreciate our readers’ patience during the brief pause and are excited to once again bring you the local news, information, and stories that matter most across Northwest Wisconsin.
As we return, we want to share a few important updates with our community.

While we are back to publishing news content, we will not be hosting any live shows this week. Our live programming will resume late next week, before returning to our regular schedule of two live shows each week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We have an exciting lineup of guests coming up in the weeks ahead, including more political candidates as the 2026 election cycle ramps up.

Among those scheduled to appear on future DrydenWire Live shows are Democratic candidate for Wisconsin’s 7th Congressional District Fred Clark, Democratic candidate for Wisconsin’s 25th Senate District Charly Ray, Republican candidate for Wisconsin Attorney General Eric Toney, and U.S. Congressman (and Republican candidate for Governor) Tom Tiffany. As always, these conversations will focus on issues important to our region and provide voters with opportunities to hear directly from those seeking office.

We also want to note that obituaries are currently being updated after the holiday break. We appreciate everyone’s understanding as we work to ensure this important community resource is fully up to date.

As 2025 comes to a close, we are proud to share another significant milestone. With only a few days remaining in the year, DrydenWire has once again surpassed 5,000,000 page views, marking the seventh consecutive year reaching that benchmark. This achievement further solidifies DrydenWire as the most-read online news outlet in our six-county coverage area in Northwest Wisconsin. We are incredibly grateful for the trust and support of our readers, viewers, advertisers, and community partners who make this possible.

Looking ahead to 2026, there is no doubt it will be an exciting and busy year. Wisconsin voters will head to the polls for a non-partisan spring election featuring numerous local races, followed by a partisan primary in the summer as part of the midterm election cycle, and culminating in the general election in November. DrydenWire will continue its commitment to providing thorough, fair, and timely coverage of these races and the issues impacting our communities.

Thank you for being part of the DrydenWire community. We are recharged, ready, and looking forward to another year of serving Northwest Wisconsin.
