GRANTSBURG, WI -- Today, Duke Tucker, a Republican from Grantsburg, WI formally launched his campaign for State Assembly in the newly redrawn 75th Assembly District. The current 28th Assembly District seat has been held since 2018 by Rep. Gae Magnafici (R-Dresser). After serving her constituents over three terms, Rep. Magnafici has announced her retirement and will not seek re-election.
About Duke
Duke was born and raised in the Trade Lake farming community in Burnett County. After graduating from Grantsburg High School, Duke enlisted in the United States Air Force where he proudly served in Desert Storm/Shield as a combat communications specialist. Duke, with his wife Roxanne, proudly raised their two daughters in Grantsburg, Wis.
Duke has served as the Operations Manager at Grantsburg Telcom for 28 years and has been heavily involved in the community. Some of his experience includes:
