Eric Toney Joins Ben Dryden For Live Conversation On DrydenWire

SPOONER, WI (DrydenWire) — Eric Toney, Fond du Lac County District Attorney and candidate for Wisconsin Attorney General, joined DrydenWire founder Ben Dryden on Thursday morning for a live, unscripted conversation as part of the ongoing ‘DrydenWire Live!’ series.

The discussion streamed live on DrydenWire’s Facebook page and was conversational in nature, not a traditional interview, with no prewritten questions. Viewers were able to submit questions for Toney throughout the broadcast.

Toney announced his campaign for Wisconsin Attorney General in October 2025, pledging to put public safety over politics, restore accountability to the state crime labs, and confront the fentanyl and violent crime crises. During the live show, Toney discussed his day-one priorities if elected Attorney General, including fixing crime lab backlogs, taking aggressive action against drug crimes, targeting violent crime in Milwaukee, and supporting victims, survivors, and law enforcement across all 72 Wisconsin counties.

As District Attorney and past President of the Wisconsin District Attorneys Association, Toney also highlighted his bipartisan leadership, securing resources for prosecutors, public defenders, and crime labs statewide.

The full video of Toney’s appearance on ‘DrydenWire Live!’ is embedded below and is also available on the DrydenWire YouTube channel, where past episodes of DrydenWire’s live shows are archived.
