POLK COUNTY — A routine early-morning traffic stop in St. Croix Falls, WI, has led to multiple felony drug trafficking charges after officers uncovered significant quantities of methamphetamine and cocaine in both a vehicle and a nearby hotel room.
According to a criminal complaint, what began as an officer’s concern over erratic driving on Highway 8 shortly after midnight on January 25, 2026, quickly escalated into a broader narcotics investigation resulting in the arrest of a Minnesota woman, Angela Firkus, 47, of St. Cloud, and her associate, Nicholas Heim, 46, of Sauk Rapids, MN.
