BARRON COUNTY — One person is dead after a crash involving a commercial farm sprayer and a motor vehicle at a Cameron intersection, according to a press release from the Cameron Police Department.

On May 5th, 2026, at approximately 1558 hours the Barron County Dispatch Center received an automated crash detection notification plotting near the 1000 block of South 1st Street in the Village of Cameron.
Emergency Personnel from the Cameron Police Department, Cameron Fire Department, Barron County Sheriff’s Department, Marshfield Medical Center Ambulance Service, area first responders and the Barron County Medical Examiners Office responded to the scene.
When law enforcement arrived, they discovered a collision involving a commercial farm sprayer and a motor vehicle at the intersection of 1st Street and USH 8 in Cameron, WI. The lone male occupant in the motor vehicle sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation. No additional information is being released at this time. The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
