POLK COUNTY — One person died in a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 35 near Luck, according to a press release from the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.

On Sunday, July 6, 2025 at 1:16 PM, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Call Center received a report of a multi-vehicle traffic crash on State Highway 35 and the intersection of 240th Avenue, South of the Village of Luck.
A northbound Toyota pickup on State Highway 35 slowed to make a left turn onto 240th Avenue and was struck in the rear by a northbound Chevrolet Silverado.
The Toyota, after being struck, went into the southbound traffic lane and an oncoming Dodge Ram collided with it.
The driver of the Toyota pickup received emergency medical care but died from this crash.
The name of the deceased driver will be released later.
Assisting the Polk County Sheriff’s Office with this crash was: Luck Fire Dept. Milltown Fire Dept. Northwestern Municipal EMS, Lakes Region EMS, and the Polk County Medical Examiner’s Office.
