BURNETT COUNTY (DrydenWire) - A Spooner man has been sentenced to prison following a fatal UTV crash in Burnett County that claimed the life of his passenger.
Richard Allen Thone, 57, has been convicted and sentenced for Class C Felony Homicide by Intoxicated Use of a Vehicle (2nd +). The investigation determined he was driving intoxicated when his UTV rolled multiple times on Shrider Road in Lafollette Township in August 2024, killing 49-year-old Jennifer Kopinski.
