RUSK COUNTY (DrydenWire) - A criminal complaint filed in Rusk County Circuit Court provides additional details on a missing child investigation that spanned multiple states and involved court-ordered custody, alleged abuse claims, and a tactical law enforcement operation, and led to felony charges against three individuals after authorities located the child during the execution of a search warrant in January 2026.
Court records show that Douglas J. Roth, 34, is charged in the State of Iowa with Class C Felony Kidnapping (3rd Degree), while Emil Roth, 59, and Audrey L. Roth, 59, are each charged in Rusk County with Class F Felony Interfere with Child Custody, as a party to a crime.
