The original field of 16 candidates vying for Spooner Area School District (SASD) Superintendent has been narrowed to 7.
The SASD Board of Education (BOE) worked with a consultant from the Wisconsin Association of School Boards, Guy Leavitt, to choose the final 7 candidates.
The following are the list of candidates along with their current position and school district in which they are employed.

Interviews will be held on on February 27th and 28th where the field of candidates will be narrowed down to 3 individuals who will go through the final round of interviews on March 13th. During those interviews on March 13th, there will also be a forum in which members of the community will have a chance to meet and ask questions of the final candidates
