RUSK COUNTY -- Homicide charges are moving forward in Rusk County Circuit Court against two individuals, Charles Allers and Elizabeth DuSell, accused in the death of a rural Rusk County man. A recently filed criminal complaint outlines allegations of a 'planned killing' and subsequent efforts to conceal the victim’s body.
On March 3, 2026, the Rusk County Sheriff’s Office issued a press release about the disappearance and death of Terry DuSell, and the arrest of 2 suspects in his death.
Initial charges for Hiding a Corpse were filed against Elizabeth on March 4, 2026 for her role in Terry’s death.
Homicide charges have now been filed against both Elizabeth and Charles, in addition to charges for Hiding a Corpse.
