(School District of Shell Lake) - Anna Roherty is a 5th grade teacher at Shell Lake. She is from Cameron WI, attended college at UW-Platteville and is on her 3rd year teaching in the district.
Anna and her husband, Charlie, are expecting a baby in June and have 2 dog fur babies, Jack and Bella.
Some of her favorite things are:
- Movies – The Harry Potter Series
- Author – James Patterson
- Hobbies - Running, volleyball, reading, refurbishing furniture
As a child she wanted to be a Veterinarian. The teacher she remembers most from school is her 4th grade teacher, Mrs. Rogers because she was the teacher Anna thought was "the mean teacher". She turned out to be a wonderful person and made her work up to her expectations! Anna later found out her mom requested her to whip her into shape!
When asked what she loves most about working in the Shell Lake School District, she said, “I enjoy the small family that forms with the staff and students. We all help each other succeed and it makes it a wonderful place to work.”
Anna said the funniest thing that a student has said to her was, “I've gotten called grandma... more than once!”
