BURNETT COUNTY, WI — Four juveniles were arrested following an investigation into a series of alleged vehicle thefts, burglaries, thefts, and other crimes reported across multiple Burnett County communities, according to a joint press release from the Burnett County Sheriff's Office and Siren Police Department.

During the early morning and afternoon hours of July 30, 2026, the Burnett County Sheriff's Office and Siren Police Department investigated a series of crimes that occurred throughout Burnett County, resulting in the arrest of four juvenile suspects.
At approximately 1:00 a.m., Burnett County Dispatch received a report of two suspicious juvenile males walking in the Village of Siren. The subsequent investigation determined that a vehicle was stolen from the Village of Siren shortly after the call.
Surveillance footage later showed the stolen vehicle at a business in Siren with three occupants. Two of the occupants entered the business and stole alcoholic beverages before leaving the area in the stolen vehicle.
At approximately 2:43 a.m., Burnett County Dispatch received a report of a burglary at a business in the Village of Webster. Surveillance footage from that location showed the same stolen vehicle and three occupants involved in the burglary.
At approximately 8:30 a.m., Burnett County Dispatch received a report of two juvenile males riding an electric tricycle in Danbury while looking into vehicles and garages. At 9:20 a.m., an electric tricycle was reported stolen in Danbury. Later, at approximately 11:14 a.m., deputies located an abandoned vehicle in Danbury, which was confirmed to be the vehicle stolen earlier in the Village of Siren.
The investigation further determined that between approximately 8:30 a.m. and 11:50 a.m., the suspects were involved in thefts at two additional residences and attempted a burglary at a business in Danbury.

Law enforcement agencies immediately began searching for the suspects. Between 11:50 a.m. and 2:40 p.m., a total of four juveniles ranging in age from 14 to 17 years old were taken into custody for their alleged involvement in the series of incidents. The investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges may be filed as the case progresses.
