Fred Clark To Join Ben Dryden Live Tuesday Morning On DrydenWire

SPOONER, WI (DrydenWire) — Fred Clark, a former Wisconsin State Legislator and democratic candidate for Congress in Wisconsin’s 7th Congressional District, will join DrydenWire founder Ben Dryden for a live-streamed conversation Tuesday morning, January 27, 2026, at 8:30a (CST).

The live show is part of DrydenWire’s ongoing series of long-form political conversations designed to help viewers get to know the person behind the campaign — not just the politics. The discussion is casual and conversational, not a traditional interview, with no prewritten questions. Topics are driven by what the guest wants to discuss, and viewers will be able to submit questions for Clark during the live stream.

Clark announced his campaign for Congress in Wisconsin’s 7th Congressional District in 2025. A forester and small business owner, Clark has lived and worked in Wisconsin for more than 35 years and has built his career around sustainable land management, conservation, and support for rural communities.

In his campaign announcement, Clark criticized Congress for what he described as failures to address rising costs, federal spending, and government dysfunction, saying northern Wisconsin families are paying the price. He has said his decision to run is rooted in a belief that Congress must refocus on its most basic responsibilities and deliver results for working families.

Clark previously served as a Wisconsin State Legislator, where he was known for bipartisan work on issues including conservation, public education, and strengthening rural communities. He lives in Bayfield, Wisconsin, and has said his personal and professional experiences have shaped his commitment to public service.

The show will stream live on DrydenWire’s Facebook page and is expected to run approximately 45 to 60 minutes.

Following the live broadcast, the full recording will be uploaded to the DrydenWire YouTube channel, where full episodes of DrydenWire’s live shows are archived. The video will also be embedded into an article on DrydenWire.com for those who are unable to watch live or wish to view the conversation again.

Readers are encouraged to tune in live Tuesday morning and take part by submitting questions during the show.
