The Rusk County Sheriff’s Office and Cameron Police Department wish to inform the public of traffic and parking operations for the funeral services of Rusk County Deputy Dan Glaze which will take place on Friday, November 4, 2016.
Public Visitation will be between the hours of 9:30AM and 1:30PM with the Ceremony from 1:30PM to 2:30PM at the former Cameron Elementary School, 600 Wisconsin Avenue in Cameron, Wisconsin.
PARKING:
Public Parking is provided at the Mosaic Telecom property located on CTH SS at the address of 401 S. 1st Street. Shuttle service will be provided to and from the service location.
PARKING ROAD CLOSURE ADVISORY:
Parking and travel will be restricted to LAW ENFORCEMENT ONLY between the hours of 6:00AM and 4:00PM Friday on the following streets: Creamery Road, South Limits Avenue, South 7th Street, South 8th Street, Wisconsin Avenue, Bowl Avenue, and the 200 through 400 blocks of South 4th and South 5th Streets.
PROCESSION:
A Law Enforcement procession will leave at approximately 3:00PM beginning at Wisconsin Avenue, traveling north on County Highway SS/HWY 8 and proceeding into the City of Rice Lake via CTH SS.
To reduce congestion in the Village of Cameron, individuals wishing to observe the Law Enforcement procession are encouraged to do so in the City of Rice Lake, where the procession will continue north on CTH SS/Main Street through the entire City of Rice Lake.
TRAFFIC ADVISORY:
Traffic in the Cameron Area will be delayed between the hours of 8:00AM and 4:00PM. For the Law Enforcement Procession, traffic WILL BE COMPLETELY BLOCKED on USH 8 and CTH SS for up to 30 minutes between the hours of 3:00PM and 4:00PM. Through traffic is strongly encouraged to seek an alternate route of travel and bypass the Village of Cameron during this time frame.
