Fur-Ever Fest! Music Festival Today

WASHBURN COUNTY -- Washburn County Area Humane Society's “Fur-Ever Fest” will be held on Saturday, June 29, from 2-8 PM, at the Potter's Shed in Shell Lake, Wisconsin.

This is the third year for this music festival fundraiser, which was started in 2017 by kind people who organized talented musicians in order to raise money for the rebuilding of the local animal shelter that had been destroyed by fire.  This fundraiser now continues as a celebration of the new shelter and the 25 years that the Washburn County Area Humane Society has been in documented existance.

Admission to this Fur-Ever Fest event is $10 per person and those attendees under the age of 14 are free.  As with each fundraising event hosted by this local animal shelter, all profits are donated for the care of animals and continued operation of the WCAHS Animal Shelter located in the heart of Washburn County on the north end of Spooner at 1300 Roundhouse Road.

There is be a wonderful variety of music, performed by favorites, Chillin With The Cat, Chad Kostner & Friends, Jason Chaffee & Friends, and Bare Bones & Friends, Spooner's Roundman Brewery will be helping out with their crafted beer and rootbeer and rootbeer floats to be served in signature Washburn County Area Humane Society Steins.  Other alcohol and non-alcohol beverages will also be available  There will be games to play, prizes to win, and food to enjoy.  This is a kid, pet, and adult friendly gathering and a great way to start the 4th of July week in vacation land and great way to support the 'Up North' animal shelter.
