Governor Evers Has Ordered Flags To Fly At Half-Staff

The Governor of Wisconsin has ordered flags to fly at half-staff, Friday, May 10, 2019, (City of Madison) and May 12, 2019 to May 18, 2019, (State of Wisconsin) as a Mark of Respect for Peace Officers Who Have Given Their Lives in the Line of Duty.

Governor Tony Evers has ordered the flags of the United States and the State of Wisconsin to be flown at half-staff in all buildings, grounds, and military installations of the State of Wisconsin located in the City of Madison beginning at sunrise on Friday, May 10, 2019, and ending at sunset on that date; and Authorize any jurisdiction of the State of Wisconsin to fly the flag of the United States and the flag of the State of Wisconsin at half­ staff on any day during Police Week (May 12, 2019 to May 18, 2019) for the purpose of honoring in a public ceremony, peace officers who have given their lives in the line of duty.
