BARRON COUNTY — An adult male was rescued after being trapped in a grain bin in Dallas, WI on Monday, according to a press release from the Barron County Sheriff’s Department.
(Press Release) — At 4:45pm, the Barron County Sheriff’s Department received a 911 call reporting someone trapped in a grain bin in the 1500 block of 5 ½-5th Ave in Dallas.
Upon arrival, emergency crews located an adult male trapped to his mouth in soybeans and barely breathing. Following a 20-minute rescue effort, the male was surrounded by grain bin rescue panels, extricated from the bin, and flown to a regional trauma center in stable condition.
