The Sawyer County K-9 Foundation announced that a Hayward High School senior is the recipient of their first annual K-9 Foundation Scholarship.
The first annual Sawyer County K-9 Foundation scholarship went to Hayward High School senior Leah Hawksford! Leah's academic and extra curricular achievements along with her future plans in forensic pathology made her stand out. Congrats Leah and the class of 2018! The Foundation hosted a 5K last October with part of the proceeds going to the scholarship as our way of giving back and supporting student going in to a criminal justice related field. Join us this October 13th for the 5K!
