WASHBURN COUNTY — Test results from the Wisconsin State Crime Lab of Hygiene have led to felony charges of 6th-offense driving under the influence for Hayward, WI, woman Rhonda Rae Heidbreder (63). The charges stem from a late-night November 2025 incident when a Spooner police officer spotted an SUV speeding, drifting across lanes, and traveling in the center turn lane in the City of Spooner.
A criminal complaint filed in Washburn County Circuit Court states that officers discovered suspected meth and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle. The incident occurred just months after Heidbreder was sentenced to probation in an unrelated Barron County methamphetamine conviction.
