SAWYER COUNTY (DrydenWire) - Two Hayward residents have been sentenced in Sawyer County Circuit Court following a lengthy investigation into drug trafficking that led to the discovery of fentanyl, methamphetamine, and large sums of cash during a 2024 search warrant execution in the Town of Bass Lake.
Edward Quagon, 61, and Julie Kirk, 50, each faced multiple felony charges tied to the distribution of controlled substances. Quagon was sentenced in February 2025.
Kirk has now been sentenced for convictions from the case as well.
