SHELL LAKE, WI — Indianhead Medical Center is pleased to announce the addition of specialized pain management services to its Shell Lake facility, enhancing the level of care available to patients throughout Northwest Wisconsin and the surrounding rural communities.
Starting immediately, specialized pain management care will be provided by Stefanie Rinehardt, CRNA, NSPM-C, who specializes in Nonsurgical Pain Management. Services will be available on-site during the first and third week of each month. This expanded service line is designed to help patients suffering from chronic pain improve their physical function, mobility, and overall quality of life through comprehensive evaluation and individualized treatment plans.
The program offers a range of services, including expert consultation, diagnostic assessments, and interventional pain management options tailored to meet the specific needs of each patient.
"We are excited to expand access to specialized pain management care for our patients close to home," said Shannon Jack, CEO of Indianhead Medical Center. "Adding these services reflects our continued commitment to improving healthcare access and providing high-quality care within our rural communities."
In alignment with IMC’s participation in the Washburn County Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP), this expansion provides a vital local alternative to opioid prescriptions for managing chronic pain. By offering interventional solutions, IMC aims to address the root causes of pain while promoting safer, long-term health outcomes. Learn more about the Washburn County CHIP here.
