On August 1, 2018 at approximately 10:00 am, Sawyer County Deputies, assisted by Sawyer County SWAT, LCO Police Department Officers, and Wisconsin DOJ Division of Criminal Investigation Agents executed a search warrant on a residence on K-Town Road in the Town of Bass Lake on the Lac Court Oreilles Reservation.
The search warrant was obtained after an investigation by the Sawyer County Sheriff’s Office, the LCO Police Department and the Wisconsin DOJ Division of Criminal Investigation, into drug trafficking from the residence.
As a result of the investigation and the execution of the search warrant, four people were taken into custody:
Mary Jo Isham, age 42, was arrested for Possession With Intent to Deliver Heroin, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Maintaining a Drug Dwelling and Bail Jumping.
Selina C. Isham, age 27, was arrested for Party to a Crime-Possession With Intent To Deliver Heroin, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Bail Jumping
James R. Fairbanks, age 23 was arrested for Party to a Crime-Possession With Intent to Deliver Heroin and Felony Bail Jumping.
Mariah R. Trepania, age 20 was arrested for Felony Bail Jumping, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and on active Felony Arrest Warrants.
You are advised that a charge is merely an accusation and that a defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
During the execution of the search warrant, 2 grams of Heroin and packaging materials were all seized from the residence.
