DrydenWire.com received multiple messages this morning and throughout the day stating that area residents were unable to access their internet using Spectrum today.
At my residence in Spooner, the internet has been down since approximately 5a (or at least that's when I noticed it). At the time of this post, 2:48p, it continues to be down.
3 Blocks away at the DrydenWire office, the internet - also through Spectrum - is working great!
Go figure.
I spoke to a representative with Spectrum a short time ago and she stated that they are aware of an issue that is causing outages for customers all over Wisconsin and Illinois. She also stated that she does not know why nor could she speak to how long it would take before it was up and running again.
Spectrum (formerly Charter Spectrum and Time Warner Cable) offers cable television, internet and home phone service and serves homes and businesses in 25 states.
