The Siren Lions Club will hold their annual yard sale at Crooked Lake Park on Friday, August 31st, Saturday, September 1st and Sunday, September 2nd. The sale starts at 8:00 am sharp each day.
This year the Lions boast their largest selection ever with new items daily! Bring trucks and trailers to transport your treasures. Food and refreshments will be available on the sale grounds.
Proceeds from the sale fund the Siren Lions local projects including:
- The annual “Whopper Ice Fishing Contest” on Calm Lake
- Summer Kids Fishing Contest on Clam Lake
- 4th of July Fireworks show on Crooked Lake
- Trunk-or-Treat Halloween event
- Eye screening for children in the Siren area
- Eye glass, hearing aid and cellphone collection site
- Supplying volunteers for Connections Food Distribution and community events such as the Gandy Dancer fly-in/drive-in and Siren Airport Time Trials
- Installing handicap ramps for citizens
- Many additional service projects throughout the year
