Shell Lake Arts Center Kicks Off 50th Camp Season
SHELL LAKE, Wis. -- The Shell Lake Arts Center, home to the longest running jazz camp in the nation, invites you to help kick off their 50th season! The summer starts with Trombone Workshop and a performance by the campers on Friday, June 16th, at 5:00 PM in the Arts Center's Darrell Aderman Auditorium.
On Saturday, June 17th, at 7:00 PM join the Arts Center and friends in the garden of the Potter's Shed in Shell Lake, WI for a special benefit concert performed by their master jazz faculty. Featuring favorite songs from the Big Band era, see Arts Center Jazz favorites such as Greg Keel, Jeff Gottwig and Chris White who will perform along with vocalist Roxy Stouffer-Cruz. Admission to this event is FREE, and wine, beer, and snacks will be available for purchase at the event for a small charge.
On Sunday, June 18th, the Adult Big Band Workshop participants will present a final concert at the Shell Lake Lakefront Pavilion at noon, and be sure to catch our master jazz faculty performing in the Darrell Aderman Auditorium on Sunday at 7:00 PM, Monday June 19th 7:00 PM at the Lakefront Pavilion and again on Wednesday, June 21st at 7:00 PM in the Darrell Aderman Auditorium as well.
