SPOONER, WI — Washington County Executive Josh Schoemann, who announced his campaign for statewide office earlier this year, will return as the featured guest on DrydenWire Live! with DrydenWire founder Ben Dryden this Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at 8:30 a.m.
The show will stream live on DrydenWire’s Facebook page and YouTube channel, with a recording of the full conversation available later in the day on DrydenWire.com.
This unscripted, in-depth discussion is expected to last around 45 minutes and will cover a range of current issues, including updates from Schoemann’s campaign, county leadership, and challenges facing Wisconsin communities.
Schoemann has served as Washington County Executive since April 2020 and was re-elected to a second term in 2024. He currently serves as President of the Wisconsin County Executives & Administrators Association. Prior to becoming County Executive, he served more than six years as County Administrator and Administrative Coordinator.
A veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Schoemann served in the Army National Guard, earning an Army Commendation Medal before receiving an honorable discharge in 2008. He continues to serve his community through the Boys & Girls Clubs of Washington County Board of Directors, as a member of VFW Post 10452, and at Peace Lutheran Church in Hartford. He lives in the Town of Trenton with his wife, Jodi, their two sons, Cael and Drake, and their dog, Liberty.
