POLK COUNTY (DrydenWire) - A late-night call about a suspicious person outside a Polk County residence has now advanced to the next phase of the criminal court process, as a judge has ruled there is probable cause to move the case forward.
Following a preliminary hearing and additional legal briefing, a 16-year-old accused of planning violent acts in Osceola has been formally bound over for trial in adult criminal court on attempted first-degree intentional homicide charges, stemming from a June 2025 encounter that began with a deputy responding to a report of someone looking into a bedroom window.
