K-9 Trace Has Had Busy Last Couple of Weeks

(Release) Multiple calls for K-9 Trace and his nose to locate drugs out of vehicles in which arrests for methamphetamine were made. Trace supported a SWAT operation where he was deployed to apprehend a suspect who was refusing to comply with orders. Upon deploying Trace the suspect ultimately gave up and Trace was recalled to his handler. Two nights ago deputies responded to a commercial burglary where the suspect was believed to be inside. Trace was sent in to search leaving deputies safely outside.

Deputy Nelson has received word that his new K-9 partner should be here the first part of January and we can't thank the community enough for making this possible.
