SPOONER, WI — Kelda Roys, a candidate for Wisconsin Governor and State Senator representing the 26th Senate District (D–Madison), joined DrydenWire Live! on Tuesday morning for a live conversation about her campaign and key issues facing Wisconsin.
Roys chatted with DrydenWire.com founder Ben Dryden during the broadcast, which streamed at 8:30a on DrydenWire’s Facebook page.
A lifelong Wisconsinite, Roys shared her background, noting she was born in Taylor County north of Highway 29 and now resides in Madison with her husband and their blended family of five children. She highlighted her experience as an attorney, small-business owner, nonprofit executive, and legislator.
During the conversation, Roys discussed a range of issues central to her campaign, including health care access, and education. She also addressed workforce challenges and emphasized the importance of bipartisan efforts to support Wisconsin families and businesses.
Roys earned her law degree from the University of Wisconsin and has focused much of her career on strengthening communities, improving government accountability, and advocating for working families.
