RUSK COUNTY (DrydenWire) - Criminal cases filed against a Ladysmith, WI, man have been transferred to federal court for further prosecution.
Patrick Buswell, age 51, was facing numerous criminal charges following two high-risk incidents: one from March 2025 and one from June 2025.
DrydenWire reported that Buswell was facing charges including 6th offense OWI, possession of methamphetamine and marijuana with intent to deliver following his arrest in March 2025.
The arrest in June 2025 led to charges against Buswell, including fleeing an officer, recklessly endangering safety, possession of paraphernalia to make methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, and cocaine with intent to deliver, and possession of narcotic drugs.
