SHELL LAKE -- The Lake Run benefiting the Lakeland Family Resource Center located in Spooner included a 5k run/walk, a 9 mile run around Shell Lake, and fastest kid in town 40-yard dash.
The overall winners of each race received a medal along with a handmade ceramic mug made and donated by Pam Savas of Shell Lake.
Caleb Vos Benkowski, 19:23.78 and Jen Vos Benkowski, 23:00.41 placed first in the 5K run/walk. Edward Martin, 57:45.52 and Sarah Johnson, 1:13:24.62 placed first in the 9-mile run. A full listing of race results is available at www.lakelandfrc.com or by clicking here.

Lakeland Family Resource Center’s mission is to serve parents, children, and families by providing education, supportive programs, and community connections to all families in Washburn County, WI. The Lake Run proceeds go to support the mission of the resource center.
