Lakeland Family Resource Center invites YOU to participate in our annual fundraiser – the 2019 Lake Run! Partnering with Town and Country Days, the 9mile run and 5K run/walk will take place SATURDAY August 31 at 8:00 AM. Race is rain or shine! Music will be provided by DJ Bob Forsythe from Cruisin’ Tunes along with his FIRETRUCK at the start/finish line! Again this year for runners… SWAG BAGS sponsored by Blue Hills Chiropractic. Register online at RunSignup.com. The first 200 runners will receive a bag filled with goodies. 5K- $35, 9Mi-$45; includes T-shirt and Swag Bag. Ages 0-17 run FREE. All proceeds benefit families in Washburn County though Lakeland Family Resource Center. Day of Registration will take place starting at 7am at the start/finish line. Lake Run is proud to be a PET FRIENDLY event for well-behaved leashed animals! End summer with a fabulous, family event that is fun for all!
The Fastest Kid Race - This popular race will join us at our finish line! This 40-yd Dash is FREE for kids ages 3-12. Registration for the Fastest Kid Race begins at 1030am with a race start time at 11am.
New this year...The first 100 kids to register for the Fastest Kid Race will receive a t-shirt and swag bag fill with goodie. Concessions and a BOUNCY house will also be available.
