Lakeland Family Resource Center Welcomes Amber Larue As New Executive Director

SPOONER, WI — Lakeland Family Resource Center (LFRC) is pleased to announce Amber LaRue as the organization’s new Executive Director.

LaRue joined Lakeland in February 2020 as the School to Home Liaison for Spooner Middle and High Schools, where she provided support to students and families to help reduce barriers to learning.

In addition to her role at Lakeland, LaRue has served as the Out of School Time (OST) Site Coordinator at Spooner School District, coordinating enrichment activities and programming for students. She also served six years in the Army National Guard, where she developed strong leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills that continue to guide her work in the community.

LaRue brings to her new role a deep commitment to supporting families, fostering collaboration, and strengthening community connections throughout Washburn County.
