BURNETT COUNTY (DrydenWire) - New criminal charges have been filed against the owner of Legacy Builders, Micah Flodin, for allegedly taking tens of thousands of dollars for a construction project that was never completed.

A criminal complaint filed in Burnett County Circuit Court alleges that Flodin was paid more than $44,000 in 2022 to build a pole shed on a local property but failed to finish the job, allegedly spending the money instead on personal expenses, including travel, entertainment, and restaurant purchases.

Flodin is scheduled to appear in court regarding both these new charges and a 2022 court case that was filed against him for separate charges of felony theft by contractor.
