RICE LAKE, WI — The Rice Lake Police Department, Rice Lake Fire Department, and Marshfield Medical Center will be conducting a coordinated Rescue Task Force training exercise on Monday, December 22, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Rice Lake Middle School.
This scheduled training will take place on a day when students are not in school, allowing local first responders to use the building safely and effectively for realistic training scenarios.
Residents, parents, and community members are advised that a significant number of emergency vehicles may be present at the school throughout the afternoon. This increased activity is part of the planned exercise and does not indicate an actual emergency.
The goal of this training is to ensure emergency response teams are well-prepared to work together during critical incidents. Training like this helps enhance readiness and strengthens community safety.
The Rice Lake Police Department, Rice Lake Fire Department, Marshfield Medical Center, and the Rice Lake Area School District appreciate the community’s awareness and cooperation during this scheduled event.
