(News Release) -- Great time shopping on Tuesday night for the Washburn County Kid's Christmas. Shoppers included Sheriff's Office staff, local Police officers, and a GLIFWIC warden along with family and friends of law enforcement.
A Big Thank You to the Rice Lake Shopko store management and staff. Staff members helped in locating specific items on the kid's wish lists, and the store made a $1000. donation to Kid's Christmas.
The huge job of wrapping all the gifts will take place early next week. December 21st the Kid's Christmas party will take place where Santa will distribute gifts and goodies to all of the kids that were selected for this years event.
Kid's Christmas has grown into an amazing event that is completely supported by the grace and generousity of businesses and community members. Without this continued support, we would miss out on all of the beautiful smiles and heartfelt appreciation from the kids and their families!
