Lt. Gov Candidate David Varnam to Appear on 'DrydenWire Live'

SPOONER, WI — David Varnam, former mayor of Lancaster and Republican candidate for Wisconsin lieutenant governor, will be Ben Dryden’s guest on DrydenWire Live tomorrow, Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 8:30a CST, on DrydenWire’s Facebook page.

Varnam is one of several Republicans who have announced their candidacy for lieutenant governor, joining a growing field that includes Will Martin and Nick Polce.

Varnam announced his campaign for lieutenant governor in September 2025, highlighting priorities including lowering taxes, raising educational standards, protecting women’s sports, and supporting law enforcement in cooperation with federal immigration agencies.

“Two of my most important titles are husband and father. I am concerned about my family’s future and the path Democrats are taking Wisconsin down,” Varnam said during his campaign launch. “We need to keep our schools strong, ensure public safety, and create a Wisconsin that keeps families and businesses here.”

During the conversation with Ben Dryden, Varnam is expected to discuss his campaign platform, his experience as a three-term mayor, and his vision for Wisconsin’s future. He will also take questions from viewers.

Watch live Thursday at 8:30a CST on the DrydenWire Facebook page. A full replay will be available later in the day on DrydenWire's YouTube channel and on DrydenWire.com.
