‘Make it Make Sense’ Debuts with Discussion on Energy Costs, AI Data Centers

SPOONER, WI — DrydenWire officially launched its newly rebranded live show, “Make it Make Sense,” on Thursday morning with a wide-ranging discussion focused on rising energy costs, artificial intelligence data centers, and Wisconsin’s energy future.

The show, formerly known as That’s Debatable, now features a new format centered around bringing in guests to help explain complicated or controversial topics in a straightforward and accessible way.

Hosted by DrydenWire founder Ben Dryden and North of Eight Design & Marketing founder Emily Gall, the premiere episode welcomed Paul Schecklman as the first guest under the show’s new format.

Throughout the conversation, Schecklman broke down several issues surrounding utility rates, energy demand, conservation efforts, and the growing national conversation surrounding AI infrastructure and data centers.

The discussion also explored how increasing electricity demands tied to artificial intelligence and large-scale data operations could impact Wisconsin residents and businesses in the years ahead. Schecklman shared perspectives on both the potential economic benefits and public concerns tied to those developments.

As part of the new format, the show encouraged audience interaction throughout the livestream, with viewers submitting questions and comments in real time.

“Make it Make Sense” will continue airing live on DrydenWire’s Facebook page on the first Thursday of every month at 8:30a CST.
