Man Arrested in Washburn Co. for OWI with 2 Children in Vehicle

Edward J Fischer, 40 years of age, from Pulaski has been arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol Spooner Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 1st offense, with two children in the vehicle under the age of 16.

While assisting Washburn County, a Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper from the Spooner Post arrested Edward J Fischer for OWI/Drugged Driving 1st offense. Mr. Fischer had two children, a 5 year old and a 6 year old in the vehicle with him.

Mr. Fischer was taken to Shell Lake for a legal blood draw and then turned over to the staff at the Washburn County Jail.
