Man Arrested on OWI 10th Offense in Washburn County

A 46-year-old man was arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 10th offense, in Washburn County, according to a press release from the Wisconsin DOT.

(Press Release) -- Raymond Franklin Bresette, 46 years of age, from Bayfield, WI has been arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol Spooner Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 10th offense.

On Sunday, July 1, 2018, at approximately 10:30 pm, a Wisconsin State Patrol trooper observed a vehicle speeding in excess of the posted speed limit. The driver was stopped and identified as Raymond Franklin Bresette age 46 from Bayfield, Wisconsin.

Signs of intoxication were detected and after field sobriety testing, Bresette was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant-10th offense.

Bresette submitted to an evidentiary chemical test of his blood and was subsequently lodged in the Washburn County Jail pending court proceedings.
