Man Facing Life-Threatening Injuries Following Car Vs Tractor Crash In Pierce Co.

PIERCE COUNTY -- At 4:26p on Saturday August 24, 2019, a car vs tractor crash occurred on WIS 72 at 430th Street in Pierce County near Ellsworth. Two people suffered injuries; one with life-threatening injuries, according to a News Release from the Wisconsin State Patrol.

(News Release) -- At approximately 4:26 PM on 8/24/19 a farm tractor was struck by an automobile as it crossed WIS 72 on 430th St east of Ellsworth. The driver of the tractor was airlifted to Regions Hospital by Mayo One with critical injuries.

The crash is under investigation by the Wisconsin State Patrol.

Assisting agencies included Pierce County SO and Ellsworth Fire/EMS and Mayo One.
