DOUGLAS COUNTY — Douglas County Authorities discovered a victim with multiple gunshot wounds in Maple, WI on Monday, according to a press release from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
(Press Release) — Douglas County Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched to a reported shooting incident on Pellman Loop Rd in the town of Maple at 3:47pm on Monday 9/2/2019.
Officers arrived and found one victim with multiple gunshot wounds. This victim was airlifted to a Duluth hospital and his condition is unknown at this time.
Three persons were detained and are being questioned regarding the incident. All subjects were known to each other, and all involved in this incident are accounted for. There is no suspect at large nor any danger to the public.
